WIPOCALYPSE 2nd month

I present now the WIPOCALYPSE progress:
Konstantinople Haman is growing since a couple of weeks. I only need to stitch a small border to complete part 1.

Die untere Blätterreihe ist vom 26. Project der Crazy January challenge fertig geworden.
I stitched the bottom border of Project 26 from the Crazy januaray challenge.

Die Socken vom letztenmal sind fertig!

Der Pullover ist auch ein bischen gewachsen
I knit some rows on this Pullover.

Halswehtuch

This was a simple and quick little shoulderette to knit inbetween all that stitch crazyness. It is made from a wool silk blend and feels very smooth and comfortable on the skin.

Pattern: Ginkgo Shoulderette
Yarn: Merino Extra fine Silk from handgefaerbt.com

There is one thing that is displeasing in a warm winter like that we have around here now. I really, really want to go in the garden and plant the first fresh green. If it is bitter cold out there with loads of snow I have almost no desire for fresh air in the garden. But at 8° C and sunshine in the middle of January...

The first plants are blooming and the last plants from autum are still in bloom. Snowdrops, Hamamelis and Snowball bush are blooming only rarely in January. Unfortunately  it is not easy to take a picture as the plants move in the rather strong wind.

Marigolds from last September are still blooming.

I planted the Romaesco a bit to late last year. In September the plant were small and now sign of the florets until  Dezember. Now it is nearly ready for harvest.

Crazy January Challenge Day 16 - Pouch

This rich embroidered pouch is a project from the genious japanese designer Yoko Saito. I like to use this pouch to transport my knitting projects. It is stiched with japanese Sashiko yarn.

Snapper Calender: January snows

January of the Snapper Calender is finished - well - nearly finished. I stitch the nose of the snowman as soon as I have some orange thread in the needle.

Crazy January Challenge Day 15 - Evening in the park

I started the challenge with a large Chatelaine Design and I end it with another one. Evening in the park is the design called. I like to make a pillow cover out of it. These are the designs -I like to finish this Year.

Of course the one or other will remain unfinished, but I really hope to finish the most of them. From tomorrow onwards until end of January I present mostly WIP's and UFO's.
