A long,
long time ago, when I was young and had no money, especially no money for
needlework I crocheted edgings from cheap yarn for my kitchen towels. I never went easy on
those towels and they experienced rough treading and a hot wash every week. Never
the less they last well over a decade. I was looking for replacement since
quite some time and finally found a small weaving mill in Italy. Their Towels
have some cute designs and an aida field for cross stitch. Now the first towel
is finished with crochet edging and stitching.
