Just plain nuts

Ich bin völlig übergeschnappt.
Ich bin der Crazy January Challenge 2012 bei Yahoogroups beigetreten. Dabei klang das ja durchaus nett am Anfang: An jedem Tag vom 1. bis zum 15. Jänner fängt jedes Mitglied ein Kreuzstichbil ihrer Wahl an. Das sind 15 Projekte, die dann bis zum Jahresende fertig gestickt werden sollen. Das ist eine recht schöne Aufgabe, weil die eigene Motivation nicht so leicht nachläßt und man die Werke der anderen Mitglieder bestaunen kann. Immerhin sind bereits jetzt mehr als 1700 Projekte geplant und jeden Tag werden es mehr.

So weit so gut.
Ich lehne mich da ja schon weit aus dem Fenster, da zwei große Chatelaine Bilder dabei sind, aber nein  nicht genug damit. Als ganz besondere Herausforderung gibt es ja noch die Modified Ultimate Crazy January Challenge. Hier können zusätzlich noch  vom 16. bis zum 31. Jänner weitere Projecte begonnen werden oder WIP's weitergestickt werden - und genau die mache ich mit. Das bedeutet es müßten jeden Monat ca. 3 Projekte fertiggestellt werden.
Gut, das schaffe ich nie, so lautet mein Vorsatz: Die ersten 15 Projekte fertigstellen und soviel wie möglich an den anderen 16 arbeiten.

I am stark raving mad. I joined the Crazy January Challenge 2012 bei Yahoogroups  It sounded so nice at the beginning. On each day from January 1st to January 15th each member starts a cross stitch project and tries to finish it during the year 2012. That is quite a fine challenge. The motivation will stay on a high level and you are able to marvel all those beautiful projects of the other members. After all there are already more than 1700 projects and they grow every day.
Fine.
So I already put in two large Chatelaine projects in it - but no - that's not enough.There is also the Modified Ultimate Crazy January Challenge where another project is started for each day from 16th to 31st January and WIP's are allowed here - and that's what I am going to do!  That means I have to finish 3 projects a month! Ok, I know that's far to much, so I focus to finish the first 15 projects and try to stitch as much as I can on the other 16.
